The region around our house is full of sites to visit, magnificent landscapes and sports activities accessible to all. You can spend a week of family vacation here without getting bored.
Cultural Heritage :
The Hospices de Beaune (8km):
It's a must! the glazed tile roof is an architectural gem from the 15th century. You can only discover it by entering the inner courtyard of the establishment. The frame that you can discover in the room of the poor is also spectacular. Let yourself be carried away by the history of Beaune and this building thanks to the very well done audio guide.
The Clos de Vougeot castle (15km):
This is the second emblem of the Côte d'Or. Formerly the winery of the monks of the Abbey of Citeau in the 11th century, this place was transformed into a castle in the 16th century. The framework and the presses of yesteryear are masterful. We recommend the guided tour every day at 10:30 a.m. or 2:30 p.m. to let yourself be carried away by the soul of this place.
Please note this is not a tasting place!
The castle of Savigny-les-Beaune (5km):
If you are passionate about planes, motorcycles or old racing cars (Abarth) then this place is for you. Located 5 minutes from our house in a charming village, this 14th century castle houses a collection of aircraft worthy of the greatest aeronautical museums (Mirages 4, Migs). You can also have a good time in a beautiful park.
